In a land where backs curl,
Where the brightness of the sun
There lived a girl
A girl with dreams that did come
When she was sure and certain
This girl so gorgeous
Bragging of it she hated though
And so she had the guts
To keep her mouth mum
For she couldn’t get calm
When all around her were waves
Waves
Waves that tried to push her off her feet
Waves that threatened her patience
Waves that daily made her eyes sore
Waves that she wished could fade
Waves.
Then came her way
A man out of nowhere
That place also not keep him
He had all the sorrows one could hold
He had dreams and expectations
So short was his forgetfulness
He met this girl
And they found solace in each other
They found a match in themselves
And they were as happy as elves
She met him
He met her
He opened up to her
She also did
She prayed for him
He also did
They had to hold on
For their ages did not allow
Their conscience proved them right
They had a lot to face
Many an obstacle to fight
They had a patience they cherished
And all they needed was each other
They were each other’s strength
They were their own admiration
They were each other’s mentors
They were each other’s breath
Now eons passed
They had their life
it was like a puzzle
nay
a maze
so complicated yet the answer
had been so open
they embraced their dreams
and in reality they did dream
had what they had always dreamt of
not all
but
enough to let them
know they had achieved
a family they did
raise
amid busy schedules
but each other’s shoulder was a rock
a rock so strong
and the sun did not scorch
they were together
till the hair evaded the dark
and embraced the grey…..
